Just Pictures

Things have been very busy around here and I have not had much time on the computer or to even put some thoughts into our life happenings of the past 13 days. Max will be 2 weeks old tomorrow and it seems that time just flies by. We smother him with kisses and hugs every day and hold him ever so tightly to make sure that he knows how much we love him.

Max appears to be a healthy little boy with a never ending appetite. His doctors' appointments have been going well. He is starting to gain back his weight. We will visit with the doctor again on Friday and I am hoping that he will be back at his birthweight then.

Enjoy the pictures.

  3. So beautiful. My heart breaks for the loss of Lucas. Please know there are many of us working day and night to make sure every newborn is screened for critical congenital heart defects. We are getting very close...I hope your angel is watching over all of you in your new happiness! Annamarie, 1in100.org

  4. Very beautiful. I too lost a son, Aiden Matthew from a Congenital Heart Defect. I am so happy for your new addition and feel your heart break about Lucas. Many thoughts and prayers that the rain breaks and the rainbow has just started to shine from your family.

  5. My daughter Lauren was also born on 10/24/08 at 7:51 AM. We are so lucky that a nurse hooked her up to a pulse ox machine and they later found her CHD, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. I am so sorry for the loss of your son and will remember him always because our babies share the same birthday and the same sort of birth defect. Congratulations on Max! He is just beautiful! I am so happy for you.
